IAI is proud to announce that some of the cutting-edge interactive tasks we co-designed and developed for the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), as a subcontractor to Educational Testing Service, have been published on the NCES (National Center for Education Statistics) website following the first ever administration of the Technology and Engineering Literacy part of NAEP. These are interactive tasks that assess literacy and processes in Technology and Engineering Literacy (TEL).
NAEP has posted some of these tasks and released results from the first Technology and Engineering Literacy test. In 2014, more than 20,000 eighth-graders in a nationally-representative sample were presented scenario-based tasks on laptop computers and asked to analyze and solve real-world technology and engineering problems.
