I AI conducts research and develops innovative Education and Training applications to provide intelligent tools and environments for learners, teachers, and courseware developers. Our focus has included assistive environments for special education, studies in hypertext usability, and Web-based distance learning applications.

We use novel approaches to create technically outstanding solutions that are based on cognitive learning theory. Examples of our solutions include a Web-based adult literacy tutor, team/group assessment methods, and a "smart" lesson planner that provides individualized adaptive instruction in accordance with a teacher's objectives and relevant standards of learning.

Our applications span the K-12 environment, as well as the adult learner community, military education and training, and courseware development support.
