IAI employees and family members gathered at a local park for our annual summer picnic. It was a great turnout despite the heat. Helping the kids to stay cool was a giant inflatable water slide, and kids and grown-ups alike enjoyed the ice cream catered by Sub Zero! What could be more appropriate for a technology innovation firm than high-tech ice cream? Sub Zero ice cream is made on the spot by freezing milk and other ingredients directly in your bowl using liquid nitrogen. In addition to the ice cream, there was a large variety of picnic food and drinks. Other activities included face painting, games, and competitions that kicked off the IAI Summer Olympics! Among these competitions were a badminton tournament, water balloon toss, and horseshoes. Our office Olympic events continue next week with competitions like “Post-it note fencing,” office archery (with rubber bands), and a golf tournament, among others. Check our blog next week for an update on the IAI Olympics. IAI summer traditions are always a lot of fun, and this year’s picnic did not disappoint!
