Last weekend we took advantage of the early June weather and went strawberry picking at Butler’s Orchard. The day’s adventures began with a tractor ride out to the strawberry fields, where we picked as many ripe strawberries as we could pile into our buckets. (To maximize storage, some of the kids among us may have carried some of the berries back in their bellies…) Then, buckets full and fingers pink, we headed back to the play area of the farm and enjoyed the many family activities Butler’s offers — the playground, tractors, bikes, farm animals, and giant slides. Everyone appreciated being outdoors on such a beautiful day. This event is one we will be sure to repeat!
