We had a great and active summer at IAI with a bunch of events sprinkled throughout the summer. IAI had a successful first year of competitive beach volleyball – making the championship playoffs, but unfortunately getting eliminated in the semi-finals. IAI employees and their families enjoyed trips to the Frederick Keys game, the Catoctin Zoo, and Homestead Farms. As usual we found excuses to eat lots of food and have fun during our summer crab feast, and on our end of summer trip to the Maryland Renaissance Festival. And the highlight of the summer, of course was our annual summer picnic. We had great food, a design your own ice cream sandwich truck, a balloon artist, a hand-print artist, glitter tattoos, a giant inflatable water slide, and lots of games. It was a treat as we all spent a beautiful afternoon together in Seneca Creek State Park.
