IAI Awarded MDA Contract to Create ML-Driven Tools that Automatically Patch Source Code

ROCKVILLE, Md. — Jan. 6, 2019 — Intelligent Automation, Incorporated (IAI), a technology innovation company, announced today that it has been awarded a contract by the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) to create tools that use machine learning algorithms that automatically patch code in vulnerable applications.

IAI will develop new tools to automate fixing of cyber vulnerabilities in source code. The tools will analyze the results from commercially available scanning software, and issue fixes as needed. The tools will provide documentation and traceability required to understand how a cyber-vulnerability is being fixed.

IAI provides practical and customized solutions for protecting networks, information, and infrastructure, and has extensive hands-on experience with wireless network security, cyber-attack analysis and mitigation, and cyber security testing and training.

“IAI is proud to have been selected by the MDA to explore innovative technologies to automatically fix source code vulnerabilities,” said Vikram Manikonda, President and CEO of IAI.
