ROCKVILLE, Md. — Jan. 9, 2020 — Intelligent Automation, Incorporated (IAI), a technology innovation company, announced today that it has been awarded a follow-on contract by the U.S. Army to continue the development of a reservation and scheduling system to optimize resource utilization in complex military environments.
In the contract, IAI will continue the development and implementation of a machine learning (ML)-based scheduling algorithm that makes dynamic assignment of geographically shared resources to tasks while accounting for constraints imposed by networked resources and improving the quality of service for resource delivery. The system will match real-time supply of resources with demand in the field and account for risks that are unique to the military. The algorithm will make allocation and delivery of resources more efficient and will maximize capabilities in the field.
