ROCKVILLE, Md. — Jan. 21, 2020 — Intelligent Automation, Incorporated (IAI), a technology innovation company, announced today that it has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Army to enhance existing 5G network designs to accommodate security and reliability requirements for tactical applications.
In this contract, IAI will identify and implement enhancements to 5G network protocols to address interference, detection, and security requirements of deployed tactical systems. IAI will then develop a handheld unit that is as close as possible to commercial devices. The end product will be secure, deployable 5G systems for tactical operations.
