ROCKVILLE, Md. — Jan. 21, 2020 — Intelligent Automation, Incorporated (IAI), a technology innovation company, announced today that it has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Air Force to create an environmentally hardened software defined radio (SDR) platform to execute command and control applications though nuclear events.
IAI will create a ruggedized high frequency (HF) band SDR platform designed to withstand radiation, electromagnetic pulse (EMP), and other environmental distortions created by nuclear events. The SDR will use a direct digital conversion of the RF signals to digitize spectrums of interest as needed to adapt to dynamic environmental conditions.
