IAI’s MetroSim Program is Featured as a NASA SBIR Success Story

IAI’s MetroSim program is featured as a NASA’s SBIR Success Story. MetroSim is a fast-time airport traffic simulation tool for optimizing and analyzing flights in metroplexes. This capability is crucial for high-volume airport traffic where airspace is congested and careful optimization is required to ensure safety and efficiency.

While MetroSim was originally built for commercial and transport aircraft, IAI adapted the technology for small UAVs to support NASA Ames Research Center’s interest in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM).

MetroSim has also received recognition from the FAA and DOT, and has supported initiatives to reorganize metroplex airspaces.
