ROCKVILLE, Md.—May 26, 2020—Intelligent Automation, Incorporated (IAI), a technology innovation company, announced today that it has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Army to develop algorithm- based autonomous artificial agents with human-like cognitive skills to execute complex tasks in a virtual game environment.
In this contract, IAI will replicate the behavior of human players in a virtual gaming environment. These agents will identify and execute optimal strategies despite delayed reward time. The agents will cooperatively plan with other agents, and will be capable of learning from immediate experiences without forgetting learned information. Agents will possess temporal memory and execute strategies over a 24-hour period.
“IAI recognizes the importance of cooperative AI and is proud to support the U.S. Army’s efforts in this area,” said Vikram Manikonda, President and CEO of IAI.
