ROCKVILLE, Md.—May 26, 2020—Intelligent Automation, Incorporated (IAI), a technology innovation company, announced today that it has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Army to develop a software development kit (SDK) for Android and iOS mobile devices to support use of the stock rear camera to collect, process, and match fingerprints from subjects.
In this contract, IAI will develop a SDK solution that supports matching fingerprints in both offline and online modes. The SDK will match against a variety of fingerprint variants including legacy (500 ppi), next-generation high-resolution (1000+ ppi), and minutiae-based fingerprints, as well as advanced presentation attack detection (PAD) mechanisms. IAI will maximize interoperability and facilitate easier adoption across DoD programs by using standardized envelopes.
