ROCKVILLE, Md.—August 27, 2020—Intelligent Automation, Incorporated (IAI), a technology innovation company, announced today that it has been awarded a contract by the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) to develop advanced weapon-scheduling algorithms to mitigate missile performance degradation in challenging raid environments with many targets and light artifacts.
In this contract, IAI will improve the capability of interceptors to detect, track, and discriminate threat objects in an environment that includes adverse effects from celestial objects, impact flashes from other interceptors, and stray light effects. The raid-scheduling algorithm will determine an overall optimal fire control solution that considers interference and performance factors.
