ROCKVILLE, Md.—December 4, 2020—Intelligent Automation, Incorporated (IAI), a technology innovation company, announced today that it has been awarded a contract by the Special Operations Command (SOCOM) to develop a standardized integration between cyber assessment, monitoring, and exploitation tools with situational awareness, common operational procedure, and mission command platforms at tactical, operational, and strategic levels.
In this contract, IAI will integrate digital network topography, assets, and known vulnerabilities into a geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) context. The solution will include visualization of computer systems, networks, network-enabled systems, electromagnetic spectrum, and related capabilities critical to battlefield operations. This capability will inform decision making required for execution of operations and will enable rapid deployment of offensive and defensive cyber capabilities by Special Operations Forces (SOF) operating at the tactical level.
“IAI is proud to support SOCOM’S efforts to improve the cyber resilience of battlefield operations,” said Vikram Manikonda, President and CEO of IAI.
IAI’s cyber research team creates tools to evaluate and mitigate attacks using the newest AI techniques. These solutions employ a variety of autonomous detection and mitigation strategies, including user behavior monitoring, network traffic monitoring, moving target defenses, and run-time monitoring of applications. IAI’s techniques allow for in-depth analysis of anomalies and provide additional insight into attacks and improved responses.
