ROCKVILLE, Md.—February 3, 2021—Intelligent Automation, Incorporated (IAI), a technology innovation company, announced today that it has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Army to develop software-defined integration architecture for 5G-supported military network.
In this contract, IAI will merge modern telecommunications and networking concepts with that of military tactical wireless radio technologies such as 5th/6th generation cellular. The solution will simplify current network designs for military multi-level security services.
“IAI understands the challenge of wireless communications and is proud to support the U.S. Army’s efforts in this area,” said Vikram Manikonda, President and CEO of IAI.
IAI deploys software and hardware technologies to support hardware-in-the-loop testing, and spectrum planning. IAI’s channel simulations emulate terrain, distance, motion, and interference for connected radio systems. These technologies enable simulation of radar returns and the injection of signal degradation from electronic warfare equipment. These tools are used to gain a better understanding of how radio systems will respond to complex RF environments and contested spectrum.
IAI is a technology innovation company specializing in providing advanced technology solutions and R&D services to federal agencies and corporations. IAI leverages agile R&D processes, a multi-disciplinary collaborative environment, and a substantial intellectual property portfolio to develop concepts into market-focused products and customer-driven solutions. IAI’s core R&D areas include: AI & Advanced Computing; Autonomy & Robotics; Healthcare Research Technologies; Modeling, Simulation & Visualization; Networks & Cyber Security; and Radar, Communications & Sensors.
