ROCKVILLE, Md.—June 25, 2021—Intelligent Automation, Incorporated (IAI), a technology innovation company, announced today that it has been awarded a contract by NASA to develop a design-optimization architecture for urban air mobility (UAM) aircraft.
In this contract, IAI will develop a design tool that properly accounts for the complex interactions between a flexible structure and the steady and unsteady aerodynamic forces acting on the structure. This approach will maintain optimal performance while ensuring freedom from aeroelastic and aeroservoelastic instabilities.
