Renato Levy, D.Sc.Chief Scientist

Dr. Levy has been with IAI since 1993, and is currently the Chief Scientist and the Vice-President of the Distributed Intelligent Systems Division. Dr. Levy is responsible for operations of the division, with its three operational groups: Networking and Security, Multi-Agent Systems, and Air Traffic Management. He has extensive experience on multiple target areas such as Autonomous Systems, Networks, Cyber Security, Knowledge Management and Information Management Systems, and reconfigurable hardware, and has over 30 publications in journals, conferences proceedings, and books. As a Chief Scientist, Dr. Levy is directly involved in working with IAI customers in identifying innovative technologies to address their concerns. His current research is focused on ontology-driven agent based systems, and its impact on the design of distributed systems, specifically on the features of flexibility and behavior correctness.
